This is another version of a basic spiked (spiced) hot chocolate! Really simple, really delicious, and something you could make any variation on yourself at home with what you’ve got around!
What You’ll Need:
Glass: Mug
Ingredients:
- Spiced Rum
- Butterscotch Schnapps
- Milk
- Hot Chocolate Powder
- Orange Bitters
Garnish: Whipped Cream, Chocolate Powder and Orange Zest
Making the Drink:
This is the easiest, quickest way:
- Add 45ml of Spiced Rum to a pot over low-medium heat
- Add 45ml Butterscotch Schnapps
- Add 1 Cup of Milk
- Add 2 Teaspoons of Hot Chocolate Powder
- Stir
- Dash Orange Bitters and swirl to coat glass
- Pour mix into glass
- Dash Orange Bitters on top
- Garnish with Whipped Cream, Hot Chocolate Powder and Orange Zest
- Serve and enjoy
Feeling Fancy?
This cocktail could be done with Dark Rum, or Whiskey, with a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg… This is a basic version that could be experimented with in flavours in almost any way!
