There’s a few recipes out there with Tequila and Mint… And when I saw that I had to try and make my own. This is probably my favourite of the whole series, so if you pick one to make, make it this one!
What You’ll Need:
Glass: Mug
Ingredients:
- Milk
- Hot Chocolate Powder
- Tequila
- Peppermint Schnapps
- Milk Choc Chips
- Dark Choc Chips
- Sugar (optional)
- Salt
Garnish: Whipped Cream, Mint Leaves and an Aero Bar
Making the Drink:
This is the easiest, quickest way:
- Melt 100 grams of dark and 100 grams of milk choc chips
- Add 3 cups of Milk to a pot over low-medium heat
- Add 2 teaspoons of Hot Chocolate Powder
- Add the melted chocolate
- Add 100ml Tequila
- Add 60m Crème de Menthe
- Add 1 tablespoon of Sugar (optional)
- Add 1 pinch of Salt
- Stir
- Pour into glass
- Garnish with Whipped Cream, Mint Leaves and an Aero Bar
- Serve and enjoy
Feeling Fancy?
Melting chocolate into a hot chocolate is already a pretty fancy drink… but if you wanted another level up, you could also melt 50 grams of white chocolate chips in there as well, and use a dash of peppermint essence!
